BELONG in STEM
Bringing Educational Learning Opportunities for New Growth in STEM
This FREE program provides bridges from classroom learning to the real world through hands-on educational experiences, connections to industry careers and exposure to future opportunities for students.
With support from Hillman Foundation, the Digital Foundry is conducting its BELONG in STEM (Bringing Education Learning Opportunities for New Growth in STEM) for high school students who are typically underrepresented in STEM careers. Sessions will be held at the Digital Foundry.
WHO
9th-12th grade students who are ready to have fun exploring technologies like robotics, smart systems, computer-aided design and manufacturing, AR/VR (Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality) and building STEM skills with other high school students in the Alle-Kiski area. No prior experience with technologies or STEM is needed.
WHAT
Summer Camp (lunch provided): Hosted at the Digital Foundry for in-depth, hands-on exposure to technologies and professional skills introduced during the activity sessions with direct access to the Digital Foundry’s equipment.

2024 Camps
We are holding two separate camps to accommodate a growing number of interested students to maintain a good student to instructor ratio. Camps are held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. over three days:
- Camp 1: July 30, 2024 - August 1, 2024
- Camp 2: August 6-8, 2024
