BELONG in STEM

Bringing Educational Learning Opportunities for New Growth in STEM

This FREE program provides bridges from classroom learning to the real world through hands-on educational experiences, connections to industry careers and exposure to future opportunities for students.

The Digital Foundry is conducting its BELONG in STEM (Bringing Education Learning Opportunities for New Growth in STEM) cohorts for school students who are typically underrepresented in STEM careers.

WHO

Rising 8th grade (13 years) to rising 12th grade (18 years) students who are ready to have fun exploring technologies like automation, computer-aided design, AR/VR (augmented reality/virtual reality), 3D printing, robotics and building STEM skills with other high school students in the Alle-Kiski region. No prior experience with technologies or STEM is needed.

All camps will be held at the Digital Foundry – 855 5th Avenue, New Kensington, PA 15068.

Career In Manufacturing Days

Typically, in the fall and spring the Digital Foundry hosts special events for high-school students interested in exploring careers in manufacturing. Includes:

Keynote speakers and/or panel discussions with professionals in the field.
One-on-one engagements with local manufacturing employers.
Live hands-on technology experiences and much more.
